San Diego council contests getting tighter

The field for two open seats on the San Diego City Council has narrowed after Tuesday’s election, leaving pro-labor and pro-business candidates squaring off to replace Donna Frye and an upstart trying to defeat Ben Hueso’s brother for Hueso’s seat.
